Rithmo XL is a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic containing Clarithromycin (500 mg) in an extended-release formulation. It is prescribed to treat mild-to-moderate bacterial infections, including upper and lower respiratory tract infections (such as sinusitis, bronchitis, and community-acquired pneumonia) and certain skin and soft tissue infections. The extended-release formulation allows for convenient once-daily dosing by releasing the medication slowly over 24 hours

• Broad-Spectrum Antibiotic: Effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including Haemophilus influenzae, Moraxella catarrhalis, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Mycoplasma pneumoniae.
