Human chorionic gonadotropin is a placental hormone initially secreted by cells (syncitio-trophoblasts) from the implanting conceptus during week 2, supporting the ovarian corpus luteum, which in turn supports the endometrial lining and therefore maintains pregnancy.
Each vial of Ferti-C contains:
- Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG): 5000 IU
Each ampoule of solvent contains: - 2 ml of sterile physiological solution.
